Iolite derives its name from the Greek word for "violet" but is also known as cordierite, dichroite, water sapphire and lynx sapphire. Used by the Vikings to navigate the ocean, it's a stone of dreams, intuition and exploration, providing an inner compass for the soul. It brings peace during spiritual journeying, astral travel and past life regression.

Iolite dissolves fears of the unknown and provides solutions to problems with a clear sense of perspective.
