Smokey quartz is the national gem of Scotland, mined by the Celts and known as the "stone of power" by ancient Druids. It is strongly connected to the earth and believed to absorb light from the crown chakra through the body to be deeply rooted and grounded. It relieves tension, stress, fatigue, depression and dissolves emotional blockages. It wards off chaos and confusion, aiding the release of what is no longer necessary for growth and replacing it with positive energy.
